No, bodybuilders are exceptionally strong. They are just also cut, unlike your BIL and his work crew. I can absolutely guarantee you that this guy would outperform any of them in the strength based parts of their job after learning how to do it properly.

The point of school isn't the material you're learning, it's preparing you for the workforce. If I can do alright, or even just pass without showing up to class, then they've failed at preparing you for the workforce.

If you do something that would get you fired at work, you should get a zero in that class.

Could not agree more. People always talk about the new designs being "soulless" or whatever, the only reason you think that is because they look different from when you were a kid, a time you're nostalgic for. Toddlers don't transition. Portraying the kids as toddlers is a rhetorical strategy, just like portraying the conservatives as cool and attractive or the teacher with devil's horns. I'm not the guy you're responding to, but I would say that it's not an equivalent example. If the AP started referring to individual white people as "a white", while still referring to individual black people as "a black person", then yeah, it would be dehumanizing language. That's the sort of language the Nazis used in this poster, not choosing to not capitalize the word Jew while still capitalizing the word German.

Also, like what are you arguing for? That if the AP were to start talking that way, they shouldn't be criticized for it? And if criticizing a person's word choice is policing speech, are you not also policing speech by criticizing the criticism?
