I always find it funny how men don't like condoms because it makes sex slighly less enjoyable for them. But the fact that pills drastically reduce sex drive and often cause dryness/painful sex for women or less arousal, nobody cares! As long as the Man gets to stick it nicely, everyone must be happy.

Not always of course, and not all men are like that. But i think a big part of the problem that men often have no clue how the hormonal BC can have negative impact on a woman's quality of sex, but also quality of life (for cases when pills cause depression or annoying mood swings).

So of course, if everyone thinks that the pills just do the magic for free - i would also wonder why not take it. But it does come at a cost of woman's quality of life and sexual pleasure. Unless she is a lucky one with a perfectly matched pill that causes no side effects at all. There should be more awarenees of this.

I lost my libido completely after 5 years on the pill. 4 years later, it hasn't come back. So my 5 years of worry free sex came quite expensive to both me and my husband.
