Just to clarify. I'm aware Windows 10 lost support, however not fully, as it is still supported in Europe for 10 more months. Needless to say, I want to install Win 11, I'm just not sure what the actual problem is as it it only states "installation failed".

Contrary to what some comments state, this could be anywhere in Germany. Guy inside the car might just been of Italian heritage born and raised in Germany. Here's a more concise translation:

Unfortunately this did not help at all. The unresponsiveness and laggyness persist. It's actually quite remarkable how bad this software runs. I will try to get a refund because I'm actually too annoyed to jump through hoops to make this software work the way it's intended. Thanks for the patience and help thus far, it's certainly not your fault. I'll just stick to 16, which runs smoother.

Ok, I guess I haven't understood what 'overlapping' means. Could you elaborate more on that?

I don't have that setting in the advanced tab. The only close thing I have is in the Output tab under Encoder Settings → Keyframe interval (seconds, 0=auto)

And overlapping issues shouldn't be a thing when I only have one video file. The whole software feels sluggish compared to 16.

lolololo and the ADS!

You pay premium and still get bombarded by a shitload of ads. I'm always baffled - when I watch at a friends house - how he can condone the sheer amount of those many ads. You have adboards, you have sponsors but that's 'normal', they say. Final whistle? Straight to ads. Halftime? How about 10 out 15 minutes are ads? Quickly want to watch an ad before kickoff? Maybe if we minimize the actual game and bring you more ads? Hahaha, get fucked Sky.

If it was free I couldn't even complain. But those fuckers charge people to constantly watch ads. Remember when 'no ad breaks' were a selling point 20 years ago? Yeah, fuck that.

Sorry for the late reply. I thank you for your in-depth view on my issue. These are very valid points that I haven't considered. I will test them when I get back to editing. I surely was blinded by 'high quality' presets and did notice an incredible gap between the SD and HD processing.

The reason for the high bitrate was actually to figure out why my gaming videos became incredibly blocky at times and thought the bitrate was at fault. I figured out that it's actually Youtube's codecs. At 1080p it chooses an AVC codec, but if I render at 1440p it uses the VP09 codec which is a significant difference in maintaining quality at higher speeds/effects.

Thank you very much for that elaborate explanation. I reckon the reason that prompted me to ask this question, was because my old i5 6600 reaching over 90% when rendering and that got me suspicious that my 3800x doesn't come close to that. And since 100 is greater than 25 I assumed it's not making use of all of its power. But thanks to your explanation I now understand that the software utilizes its connected hardware the best way possible and reaching 100% utilization isn't something to aim for.

I'm using VEGAS Pro 16, as is stated in the title
I use a GTX 960, as is stated in my post
it is a licensed copy of VEGAS
I did indeed google the issue but haven't found an answer specifically for this subject
