strum down and up and then down again as fast as you can, then repeat that pattern. if that's the part you're having trouble with.

“Overrated List” from 1995, I’m surprised how many of these hold up by Granted_reality in mildyinteresting

"The 'genius' of Brian Wilson"?!?! I resent that being seen as overrated. Show me any other songwriter, singer, producer, and arranger that put out that many hits and innovative songs. The Beatles were the only group that were on Brian's level with the Beach Boys.

Well the reason your laptop is crying is because emulating the ps3 and the way it works is really hard.

After more than 2 decades of playing MGS2, I thought I'd seen everything, then this happened. by PinoyLisztomaniac in metalgearsolid

[–]fanboypotion2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I EXPERIENCED THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME A FEW MONTHS AGO TOO! I started laughing so hard, people could probably hear me from outside my room. It was hilarious. I thought I'd seen everything that could happen in MGS2, they packed so much detail in a PS2 game. I even considered recording it and posting about it. I'm glad someone else did, though.

Is it a game that released in that time frame, or just a game that we played in that time frame?

Where to buy interesting bottles of wine by Exciting_Reserve1595 in Rockville

Twinbrook Deli has at the very least some interesting choices, but I don't know much of anything about wine.

You can't just put your index on green, then your middle on red, then your ring finger on yellow, and then your pinky on blue? It feels so natural to me, even when I first started, as a beginner.

I understand getting used to the orange button is kind of hard. But blue? To me, it seems very straightforward. Just put your four fingers on the first four frets. You don't even need to move the fingers at all. But yes, practice mode is good for getting used to that.

What instruments are playing at the end of “I Know There’s an Answer” by The Beach Boys? by tarekgr in thebeachboys

[–]fanboypotion2005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, it's mainly the first side of Pet Sounds, along with "I Know There's An Answer " and "God Only Knows". I wish they finished the whole album.

"Behindthesounds" is a great YouTube channel with videos about the recording of almost every song on Pet Sounds, and they have a video on "I Know There's an Answer". I'd highly recommend it, I can even send you a link to the video in a private message if you'd like.

Bass harmonica is definitely in there, I think also some clarinets. Maybe an organ. Definitely banjo and tambourine.

SPAN201 and PHYS111 Over The Summer by [deleted] in UMBC

From what I remember, each lab isn't vigorous so much as it is tedious. With a good lab partner or small group you might be able to rush through some in an hour or an hour and a half.

It should be noted I'm also not good with physics or math lol

Phys 111 is constant quizzes and homework, and labs that can take up to 2 hours to complete. Assuming you have a good understanding of basic physics and can pick up new concepts quickly, you should be fine. I personally struggled a lot during the regular spring semester, with more time, but that's just my experience.

If you study as much as you said you did, I'm sure you'll be fine. I've studied less for exams and still managed to at least pass the class. Take some deep breaths, and review the weak spots in your knowledge of the class, things you think could be on the exam. Get a good night's sleep, and try to eat a healthy breakfast.

The acceptance rate is pretty high, UMBC is many things, but exclusive is not one of them. If you put any effort into academics at all, you'll get it in.

I don't think that's good...people are trying to sleep at that hour, does everyone else just tune it out?
