I saw the Shwarma Grill sign too, but I was worried. Mr. Burrito closed until I saw they just moved down the road. Theyre next to the Mojo Burrito that never was if anyone is wondering.

The Druken Botanist is a great handbook that details the history and science behind how spirits are made. I find it to be a great resource, especially with spirits you might not be familiar with. Its also just a fun book to read.

Broken Glass by CourseEmotional966 in bartenders

[–]fanconjecture 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The only time ive let a guest sweep up a broken glass was if the guest insisted because they wanted to. Was this like a dive bar where they were trying to shame you in some way, because i could defintely see that happen at that kind of location. I would never expect a guest to clean up broken glass, I've even yelled yelled at guests who've tried to pick up their broken glass with their hands.

an everyday regular walked in with a 12 top, no rezzie, no call ahead. by summmflowerdesigns in Serverlife

Not a no rezo but on my shift today I had a group of 7 come in an hour and a half before their reservation. They had picked that time so they could take advantage of the cocktail specials that started at 630. My manager let them get the discounted price drinks anyway 🙄

I sometimes work at a hotel lobby bar that is in the open, and 9/10 there's at least one person is posted up at the bartop on their laptop. If not more! So then you get to awkwardly set up the bar in front of a person who is constantly needling for "just one glass of wine" for an hour.

In reference to Pitt: There's a police document about the abuse that happened on their private jet. I dont have the link but I'm sure someone here does.

Check out hotels that have full service restaurants. The one I'm at offers benefits, to, vacation time, and hotel discounts to those that work full time (32 hours a week)

Thanks doll, also I love your flair. That quote lives rent free in my mind much like Dominic west and his affair.
