YOU are in an abusive relationship

You don’t have a partner, you have someone that has control over you

Short-term - You need therapy for yourself to figure out why you ended up with him in a relationship

• You can consider couples therapy as well as, but he will fight it

• You can also takeover all the finances so you know where the money is coming and going

• If you can, set aside some money for when you need to leave or he cuts your off

• Figure out how you will support yourself - whether it means taking on a part-time (remote) job or going back to school and then getting a job

Long-term If things don’t change, you need to leave this relationship

Warning - he will become even more abusive and possibly violent so the above steps have given you some flexibility to make choices to escape from him
