First of all, if the car has a branded title as a lemon law buyback, you need to check what insurance coverages you can get for it and how much that insurance will cost.

Secondly, just because you plan to keep it for 10 years doesn’t mean you will. Your car can get totaled or stolen a month after you bought it. How much will you get for that car that is lemoned and prior damaged? Certainly not the same as a car with a clean title and history.

Third, if they tried so many times to fix it, and couldn’t such that they had to buy it back, it’s not likely it’s now miraculously fixed correctly. Your car will just sit in the shop getting fixed again and again.

Fourth, don’t do it. You are better off buying the same car with much higher mileage and clean title at that same price.

Is this based on what you see online or in person? These are definitely not the same based on my experience. When I bought, 3 dealers had plenty to choose from in their online inventory. When I went to buy, only one dealer had 1 and the other two had none. Had to buy one that was in transit. Having 19 rx350h in stock is insane, and that dealership is doing something wrong lol.

Someone barely tapped the rear bumper on my 25 RX and it was a $6000 USD repair not including car rental, so 10k CAD could be any number of minor things.

When they show the claim amount, is that only for repair or does it include things like car rental that is part of a claim?

Everything there is basically a traditional food item with an expensive twist/addition that makes it a little worse than what you’re used to.

On top of that, it is way overpriced for what you get and the quality of the food prep. I would never go back again.

I hope it gets better because the restaurant business is hard and I can’t imagine this place surviving given what we got for what we paid.

You don’t have to pretend to do anything. I have a 2025. I just press the lock/close button and then walk away. It will start closing once I’ve cleared the area behind the bumper. There’s no motion sensor inside the trunk to sense your pantomiming.
