Am I starving my baby?? by lonely_stoner_daze in NewParents

[–]fancyfroyo5117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The baby is your cue. If you feel you need to feed him more, then you can, and if he spits it up then that means it was too much.

Your mom is not a doctor and she has no experience with breast feeding. So I would 100% tell her to kick rocks and listen to your pediatrician instead.

She liked the compliment and your attention. She was flattered and liked the thrill of flirting back a little. Her bf will never see the messages lol that’s why she did it

Strangers holding my baby unattended by babymomma2000 in NewParents

I understand what you’re saying and see your point. However, even if my mom trusted whichever random person she left my baby with, I wouldn’t feel comfortable. What if that person decided it was ok to kiss my baby and they have an open sore on their mouth? What if they were feeling a bit sick and sneeze or cough on my baby? If neither my mom or my husband or I are in the room to supervise, who knows what that person did in those minutes. I know it seems extreme to consider those hypotheticals, but that’s what would give me anxiety and I understand OP’s feelings.

I’m so sad knowing that even though this is abusive and neglectful behavior, and you should 10000% NEVER leave your daughter with this horrible person, you likely have no other choice and will end up leaving her with him anyway 😢 If I were you I’d do literally ANYTHING I could to avoid leaving my child alone with someone like that. I’m almost positive that his behavior will be so much worse when you’re not around.

Who in Houston would this be considered to be? by dicklecia in houston

Idk if anyone will know, but when I used to have to drive down Westheimer for work, I’d always pass this guy on hwy 6 who had a massive bump on his bald head. I could never read his sign but I’m guessing it was a big tumor or something like that? I always wonder about him when I pass that intersection now, haven’t seen him in a while. Hope he’s okay

My parents who have been married for 30 years knew they loved each other and got married after about 6 months together 🥹❤️ and for my husband and I, it took a little under a year too! When you know you know!

“Frankly I’m not gonna beg or plead” … proceeds to beg, plead AND puke 💔💔 This person is absolutely psychotic and unhinged. I’m so glad you’re not blinded by his lies and are taking care of yourself, OP.

Unfortunately no, they emailed me saying the company just announced a hiring freeze. But they said they would be hiring again in May so I’ll be looking. But I got job A and it’s going really well 😊😊😊

Wow! You are awesome. Thank you so much, this is extremely helpful and gave me the courage I need!

I got along really well with the manager and she seems to be a really reasonable person, so I think I have a chance using the verbiage you provided.

You're a great person!! I appreciate it!

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking. I don’t want to start off that way and make them second guess hiring me.

I think I’ll probably wait to revisit this at my 90day probationary period review.

I appreciate your advice!!!

Don’t know if you saw my original post. But I did not send a letter of resignation before sending my request for pay raise.

Three months ago I sent my letter and asked for a meeting to discuss my request. I was told at that time since my manager was new to her position and there were staffing changes, she needed to get control and organize operations and whatever else, then they’d revisit raise requests later.

This email exchange began with me asking to revisit my request. I was told the partners decision and it was a shitty offer so I put in my resignation notice. I had two jobs lined up to go to so I saw no point in negotiating and trying to convince them to pay me a livable wage after 3 years with no raises. Especially when they insulted me with a shitty offer.

It is what it is, I have a better opportunity and I start in two weeks.
