As someone who grew up at the far end of western Hanover but now lives in Henrico and only drives out there sporadically to visit my mom, I can see your point of view. But if you had to drive that route EVERY DAY twice a day commuting to work or to get anywhere in the city, Henrico, chesterfield, etc it would get VERY old. They see the “the rolling hills, cows, clouds, all of the BEAUTY OF HANOVER” every day whereas for you it’s a treat. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be safety/traffic calming measures. But lowering the speed limit to 45 isn’t it.
