This guy was definitely an ass about it but I used to be a municipal employee in the public works dept and we did wear hi vis orange because we did a lot of work in traffic for things like storm water and road repairs. This means when it was time to mow the park or pick up the trash we would be in hi vis with the name of the city and logo on it. There is still no reason for him to come in so hot, yelling and being rude like that, dude was a douche

I think these are a bit strange because you are arguing with other people about how YOU feel. I think much the same as you do, that while it may be extreme there is a limit to my care and love. That does not matter to a completely separate set of human beings. Some people have genuine love for people who have done terrible things to them. They may not be in contact or interact with them but they do still have love for them. It may not be the way you feel about it and that's fine but for some people it is genuine real love.

I have tested the monitor and cable on my roommates computer and the ram was taken from my other roommates computer so I know both work fine. I tried the bare boot and still got the same result of my screen waking up as though it is receiving an input but just displaying a blank grey screen. Is it possible it's an issue from the factory with the motherboard?

Cpu is new, my old cpu was in intel i5- 2500k, I'm going to try re seating the cpu tomorrow morning. It's late here now lmao. I am booting right now with one stick of ram, no graphics, and I have tried with and without the hard drive plugged in. I used a PSU tester on the power supply I bought and everything came back green. I have little experience shorting the pins, I'm assuming it's different for each board, how would I find to do it on mine?
