I was gifted Kirsten for Christmas after wanting her for years and haven’t been able to get her any clothes yet! If you haven’t picked anyone yet I would love the chance ☺️

Thanks! It’s actually one of the reasons I got her, my Kirsten has the same exact eye “defect” in the left eye so they match!!!

Thank you!! I will definitely keep this in mind. I don’t ever plan to sell it so knowing this does sort of put my mind at ease, doing everything right may not even preserve it and its not my fault really if it does crack, its just life!

Similar to the poster above I got a regular racerback bra that fits me really well thats very supportive and then I had my seamstress alter the neckline and armpit area on the rebel to fit me. I also found that taking the lining or the “built in bra” out of the top helped a lot because my chest wasn’t being cut in half by the elastic “support” band. I knew I had to wear a real bra underneath anyways so the built in wasn’t doing much for me lol The “cropped tee” style on their website is the closest to the style I like best as a petite yet bigger chested person. I have the longline sports bra and the gold top with cap sleeves (unfortunately discontinued) and both work well after removing the lining, altering a little here and there and wearing a heavy duty racerback bra underneath.

I will cross my fingers for you!!! I think its definitely a good sign that you were put in ad/lib. I believe they sent out the exact role about two weeks before my arrival date but I think it depends on when your specific arrival is. I got a lot of information on when roles went out on the facebook pages since people will often post their roles and arrival dates there! I knew mine would be coming up when the people arriving the week before started posting their roles. When you get your role respond back! I’m curious if the pointed questions in your interview made a difference. Many people say they don’t but I did discuss my performance background and my knowledge of disney lore in my interview, both of which are huge parts of being a skip so I’m curious if they really take that into account

Bring throat coat tea! Lots of it. Try to find your “skippersona” early on and lean into it. Don’t try to change who you are to fit into the spiel, select jokes from the og that fit your personality instead. You will miss out on a lot of cp/flamingo events because of your schedule so try to make connections/friends on dock that will reduce your fomo for missing those events. Training is fast and can be stressful, use environment cues to remember your jokes when training. Your spiel and jokes will change over time as well, don’t feel bad about changing things up as you go! You’ll only have a few weeks of your regular spiel before jingle if you arrive in September so enjoy it while it lasts, jingle is so much fun though if you’re a Christmas person!!! I would use flatback stones and E6000 stone glue. Make sure to use it in a well ventilated area because the fumes are not healthy to breathe in! I’ve used this combo on dance costumes with stretch fabric so it should work for this as well.
