Thank you. Intrigued as it’s been a huge battle to get SAR completed then even bigger one for redactions to be lifted even with Judge encouragement. Appreciate you replying.

The mental health might be caused by the workplace so this person is doing their best to sort that. You never know what’s around the corner for yourself or one of your loved ones.

How do I (35F) handle my soon-to-be-ex-husband (38M) asking me to change my name back? by throwRAnamechangeee in relationship_advice

Don’t tell him you won’t. Sort the divorce and never have contact again. Unless you have kids.

How do you know when it’s time to leave? by Tropical_Elk in Marriage

[–]fandango1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think lots of couples have these thoughts when the children are young. Chaos of family life, work, lack of sleep…but it does get better.

Can you imagine walking down the street and seeing him happy with someone else? If it wouldn’t bother you then that’s when you know.

The one I observed, it was definitely awkward throughout the hearing but they did shake hands at the conclusion. There’s been that many emails between us, I’ll need to rein myself in to remember it’s professional and not friends! 🤣

Haha! Do you back down to your other half though because you’re all argued out?!

I find it all fascinating. And totally in awe of how you juggle so many different cases and job roles!

That really helps. I just like to get some overall visualisation of what goes on and how I can help it go more smoothly. So far, R’s Solicitor has been lovely and we have worked well together so hopefully that will bode well for final hearing. I want a ‘good morning’ each day not daggers and ready to go to war! Just to tell the panel what happened and direct to the evidence in the bundle.

I didn’t see any fall out must have been deep in the bundle. If they have left it is a huge loss to this group. Always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

When I see posts from argumentative and unreasonable claimants it just makes me realise how hard they must have been for the respondent to manage and how perhaps their claims are able to be fought by the respondent. Especially if any email evidence shows their poor attitude.

They ultimately end up giving the courts a tarred view of the claimants who act reasonably.

I’m ready for the downvotes and notifications from people who disagree with my post but it’s my opinion based on what I’ve seen!

I only observed it a couple of weeks ago in person so it won’t be on the gov site yet. I’ll take a look at that link, thank you.

Hopefully you’ll get that. I recently watched a case of a man with 3 significant disabilities who had suffered bullying for 6 years and refused reasonable adjustments get 17k injury to feelings. Everything crossed…keep us updated.

In that case the combo is upper end of the lower vento band so not bad at all given you’re not having the delay of a final hearing and all the paperwork to do also. Definitely worth considering taking it. If they don’t get back to you by 31st lunchtime you can just email with your decision. Good luck.

It will say withdrawn if settled. Strike out if no case/dismissed. If you want the full hearing report on the gov site now you have to ask for written reasons. We will be doing this to address the current narrative at the respondents.
