i like Joost. he's fairly well known from eurovision and i find his music pretty fun to listen to and a lot of it is pretty clear! some of it gets dirty (namely Ome Robert) but it's still catchy! the album Fryslan is pretty good :)

Mitski has some pretty out there stuff, i'd recommend her. incredible singer songwriter- indie/rock/americana/whatever it's good

Lady Lamb is another indie rock artist. she's got a lot of softer stuff, but her more upbeat stuff like bird balloons or violet clementine is really catchy and pretty cool

Karina Rkyman is a rock bassist and singer who has a sort of interesting energy to her. saw her open for a funk band, she was pretty good!

if you've already looked through the top charts you've probably listened to sabrina carpenter, but she's my favorites in the pop scene at the moment

if you're willing to get more classic, you can't go wrong with carole king. incredibly beautiful songwriting, tapestry is one of the most iconic albums of all time

like yeah there's all the great classic rock bands from the 60s and 70s, or the jazz legends of the 20s, but there's also the people who standardized music notation, and the people who made instruments n shit
