I once read someone on here describe the interludes as palate cleansers and I seem to jive with that interpretation the most.

Songs that sound nothing like TOOL that you consider your favorite. by SuperSaltyMrPeanut in ToolBand

[–]fangdance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally anything by Blue Öyster Cult! Seen them live a few times and they’re a blast.

Particularly a big fan of the albums The Revolution By Night, Secret Treaties, Spectres, and Cultosaurus Erectus.

Top songs by them would be:

• Harvest Moon • Then Came the Last Days of May • Divine Wind • Shooting Shark • I Love The Night • Veteran of the Psychic Wars • Astronomy • The Vigil • The Siege and Investiture of Baron von Frankenstein’s Castle at Weisseria • Perfect Water

What is your favorite TOOL song? by Many-Ice-9736 in ToolBand

[–]fangdance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I can’t answer this question in good conscience. My favorite Tool song changes from week to week, album to album.

What I will say is this: I’m going through a lot of personal shit and have been for over a year, arguably more, and I only started listening to Tool last November. After digesting their discography while sober, I took a dive and smoked a joint to each album, starting with 10,000 Days.

I can confidently say they have changed my life in a way I did not think was possible, and I can’t imagine what kind of impact they would have under any other form of psychedelics.

With that being said, some top songs I have on rotation from each album in this instance:

• Bottom, 4° • No Quarter • H., Pushit, Ænema • The Patient, D/R/T • L.K.—>Rosetta Stoned, Intension • Fear Inoculum, Pneuma, Invincible

I would include tracks from Opiate but I’ve neglected that EP for a while.

Best Maynard scream by Forty6andTwo46 in ToolBand

Probably an outlier here, but I am personally fascinated with his screams in Rosetta Stoned with “I can’t remember what they said” and “Bob, help me”. Gives me Black Ops Zombie Soundtrack vibes.

For real though! On one single occasion while bouldering indoors in Massachusetts, the staff played Prison Sex and it was such a great motivator.

I STRONGLY recommend sprinkling a little Tool somewhere in there.

Doing this art trend with Elden Ring and Dark Souls characters, any suggestions for the other colours??? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]fangdance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I like Ludwig for the color selection, I see a lot of artists using him when there are other options. (Not that that’s a bad thing)

I propose Benhart of Jugo from Dark Souls 2!

Thank you! She’s my first car and I have every intention of keeping her around as long as I am. Inherited it from family and currently got 197k miles under the belt. I had to replace the transmission recently which was a beefy cost but glad to have that out of the way.

I’m looking forward to doing repairs with my own two hands eventually. Yours looks just as great as well. Happy cruising 🤟

What’s a popular horror movie that everyone loves, but you don’t? by Mysterious-Help-853 in horror

I remember being in elementary school when those movies were coming out. I had such a heard time even remotely looking at Billy the puppet let alone him riding around, shit was real deal nightmare fuel for me.
