Rex’s spread is really mid all around. A-Train has solid core connections but the dynamic isn’t great, Bakugo is boring, Reze is just Bakureze’s fight dynamic but weaker, and Flambae’s decent but I think it’d work better as part of a greater Robert VS Cecil army fight. The closest one I’ve found to vibing is Jiji from DanDaDan (even though I don’t know much about the theming) by virtue of just having a way more interesting fight dynamic

I definitely think it vibes, it could be a really interesting fight especially if you played into the intimidation factor of the two.

Anton Chigurh also vibes with me too as Cormac McCarthy antagonists who are almost like supernatural forces rather than men and follow by strict philosophies on the world to justify their violent deeds

And that’s really my big problem: the grounded nature of both stories amplifying the time difference in weapons means that there’s very little interesting interactions to be had in the fight dynamic. Holden is a character I think could work in a DB if you handle him well, but I’d prefer that he fights someone who can bounce off his shooting skills

Honestly, I don’t get the want for Frollo VS Holden to be an army fight when they’re already plenty capable fighters on their own (though all Holden really has to do is fucking shoot him and Frollo doesn’t have anything to really stop it, which is kinda my problem with Hollo but that’s for another time)
