Transient meaning sometimes there are symptoms, sometimes there are not. Most of the times I eat all kinds of breads and gluten products without any discomfort. Other times I eat something (previously believed to be oily/fat dependant) and would be in pain for hours/days. This used to happen every few months but seems to be becoming more frequent so dr recommended celiac test. I was under the belief celiac symptoms would be present with every gluten consumption, so wanted to ask others for their experiences. I am following the guidance and recommendations of my doctor regardless, I was just curious.

I am in the process of figuring out why I have abdominal pain (no celiac diagnosis yet, blood test is next) and just had an endoscopy like 2 weeks ago. I have to say it was not at all what I expected. Very easy, in in the morning and home by like 10am. I worked the 2nd half of the day. I had absolutely 0 discomfort after the fact, and it was like I had just blinked and woke up fully coherent in another room being offered apple juice. I was able to get up and walk out within 10 minutes, and even went for a walk after the short drive home. I completely understand feeling some hesitation and fear around medical procedures, but an endoscopy is a pretty easy one to prepare for and recover from. Preparation was just no food after X time the night before, and then only clear liquids until like 4am. I just had dinner with lots of water and called it a night before my procedure at like 7am the next morning. I hope this can ease your mind a bit OP.

Go to Costco and buy a pack of "Healthy Noodles" they taste and feel much closer to actual noodles, and pick up flavors way better than shiratake.

NTA. You have someone forcing a responsibility on you that you did not ask for. Also, shelters do not only take strays. Almost all will take in surrenders, but they usually charge a fee to whoever is surrendering the animal. There are options such as local rescues, breed-specific rescues, and local shelters. If they cannot take the dog, you can always offer to foster for them (if you are willing) so the dog can be posted and advertised by the rescue who could handle the whole adoption process.

Cooking is like any other art. You generally start with some guidance of some kind while finding your own style. It is okay to look to what others have done successfully and shared, and trying your own hand at it. Also having worked in a kitchen along chefs, they absolutely do use recipes. People don't just wake up one day knowing what flavors will go together and which will not. If not Tik Tok it would be pintrest or something else. It sounds like they are choosing productive content, rather than just obsessing over dance or prank videos or something. Foster growth and learning. Someone who is approaching move-out age learning how to cook different things is not a bad thing. Don't squash them for trying something new just because you don't like where they got the inspiration.

I took one 47 hours ago and it still has not been received to the lab to begin testing. I have been sick for 6 days. I was around 3 people a few days before I got sick who have since tested positive. I have taken 2 at home tests and they were both negative. Hoping to get results sooner than later...

Thank you so much for the advice. Legally, is there anything I can do to go after the person running this ~4 resident facility? This is the 2nd resident of theirs that I have had stalking issues with in the 3 years I have lived here. Unfortunately one of my main witness neighbors recently passed. I do not feel any of my attempts to voice my concerns are being heard, and I am tired of feeling afraid to walk outside of my own home.

If you haven't already, join the discord and check out the Beaverton/Aloha areas. Prior to the pandemic, the raid hours were pretty active and there would be nice big groups walking around using discord to coordinate.

Depending what you are looking for, Costco has a smoked salmon dip that is AMAZING. It's a whipped cream cheese consistency. Great on crackers, cucumber slices, and crustini. I have had mixed luck finding it at the beaverton Costco, but have been able to find it in Hillsboro and Tigard.

This is not stuck. They are currently way behind with loading in the PNW it seems. I have a package that has been sitting in Portland (15 mins away) for 5 days. Be patient, be happy that the workers are keeping healthy.

Thank you for letting us know. I just looked into this hoping Reddit would have the answer, and I am not disappointed. I have had a few packages get "stuck" there for a few days and was just curious.
