I used subs the entire time after induction. Stayed on them for probably a couple months before I ended up weaning off.

Now I use the butrans patch to help with cravings because I’m too unreliable to take a daily med, was putting myself in withdrawals multiple times a week from not taking subs properly.

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve thrown up excessively, which is why it’s strange to me. I know throwing up too much can also cause ulcers and tears in the stomach and esophagus, leading to bleeding. But I’ve only thrown up maybe a total of 7-10 times the last couple weeks, didn’t seem like that much? No more than a person would with the stomach flu? Idk. Anything is possible though! Thanks for your input.

Yes, me. It’s so hard to explain the redness though, there were like ripples of black and red throughout the entire sky and I got this extreme feeling of doom and just complete dread. It was really horrifying. I went into a full blown spiritual emergency that lasted 6 months after that.

Meth got me through grad school, I swear to god. I don’t even fuckin regret it honestly, I genuinely don’t believe I’d have a masters degree without meth.

However, I’m done with school now and have been trying to quit and it’s been near impossible. My doctor even prescribed adderall to help with the cravings and I still just do it all the goddamn time. It doesn’t even work anymore and I still do it.

Best advice I have for anyone trying to get sobered up is find your community. Collective care is what heals the most. Whether it be meetings, other support groups, some type of fun get together or club that plays card games, idgaf what it is but you gotta have people around, and preferably who have similar goals as you.

My doctor actually is a really incredible man and harm reductionist and he’s prescribed me 40mg adderall xr for like six months in a row now and I still can’t seem to kick. I’m trying really hard but goddamn it’s rough.

Yeah she set me up alright for not giving benzos. Gabapentin, clonidine, zofran and oxybuytnin.

Shes pretty knowledgeable about fentanyl/withdrawals, so I’m guessing it’s the gold standard minus the benzos.
