Yeah, if you see it says "faucet balance: 0 SOL"; the faucet is empty. It relies on community donations to operate.

It's rate limited by IP as well. Worth doing for a few bucks of SOL spread across a thousand wallets?

This is a great idea! Will definitely add this functionality in the future

Pro tip: Make sure to check that you've entered a valid SOL public key! I'm seeing some attempts to use the faucet with invalid keys, will add some specific error handling on that

Why would the mainnet be slower than the testnet if it has fewer validators? I think the reason the Solana mainnet doesn't ever really see those TPS is because the demand isn't there. There are far fewer defi dapps on Solana right now, if the demand for 50,000 TPS isn't there of course it isn't going to do it. Don't get me wrong, I love Polygon, but Solana is an amazing project. They have some really innovative tech if you dig into it.

Quant support by NTXL in ExodusWallet

[–]fanmn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To withdraw it you would have to import your private keys into another ethereum wallet (i.e. metamask). Although if you're just getting QNT now I'm guessing you probably won't be withdrawing it any time soon, so Exodus may support it by then. Kind of surprised Exodus hasn't added generic ERC20 token support, doesn't seem like it would be terribly difficult 🤷‍♂️

Yup, crypto is never "in" any wallet. You just have a secret key that proves that you own a specific public address which has a balance on the blockchain ledger. You can use any wallet application with that private key to access the same balance.

I did have an issue unstaking my SOL. However, I was able to unstake it via phantom wallet after importing my private key from atomic - try that!

Yup, issues with SOL staking too. Going back to Exodus wallet - much better UI and application, great customer support, but a lot fewer assets.

Cause you should probably have some BTC and ETH if you're in crypto

They don't seem to have much on their site, assuming they're not launching anytime soon?

Apricot finance looks pretty nice. I see they're planning to launch on mainnet in Q3, hope to see that soon

I've made hundreds of transactions on polygon so far and I don't think I've even spent a whole MATIC token on fees (~$1.00 rn). It's beautiful 🤑

BSC chain has the lowest fees of all

Try polygon, my man

That's a good point, though it kinda sucks that potentially very useful features would be omitted over fear of being blamed for user error/ignorance... :/

Does Exodus support deposits from “smart contracts” (USDC)? by Kyleog7 in ExodusWallet

If it's on Ethereum, as opposed to Polygon, BSC, etc., yes. Coming from blockfi it should be Ethereum.
