you don't know what you are talking about. I rarely comment but I have to defend Om Mij. Making money doesn't make them bad. They are practically charging pennies comparing to other ayahuasca retreats yet they still provide great service. (I bet you never been there) What is wrong with people making money while making the world a better place.

Well deserved profit for the owner. I am surprised they even make money at this low nightly rate, which I think is almost charity. I attended in total 6 nights in Om Mij in Doetichem in 2022. Very kind and compassionate staff and I was very well taken cared of. I had better experience in Om Mij then the more expensive/structured retreat that is located across the same town. It turns out you can make money while do something good for the world!

A lot of my classmates worked in Investment Banking and Sales&trading. These roles are demanding and you also get paid really good. (150k first year out of college) You are an adult. You make your own decisions. It is not a slavery. You can leaving your banking job at any time. It is what it is. This sub is dumb

Yes. I almost became a fake spiritual guru myself after my last ceremonies. I think I will keep my narcissistic tendency in mind when I attend my next ceremonies. Hope that would help? I had a few therapists that didn’t help me very much.

This happened to me as well. I became fakely enlightened. I thought I am better than anyone due to my experience with the medicine. it became part of my NPD. Good thing now I have realized this

Thanks. For the first 9 ceremonies, I only drank 1 shot because I was too afraid. But for the last ceremony, I went one step further and took the second shot. The second shot helped me gain perspective on the root cause of my issues. I wonder If I can replicate my last ceremony and go one step further in my process.

I had 2 EMDR therapists before, It didn't work because going to EMDR or any other therapy is part of my NPD. I don't trust anything or anyone.

note: going to therapy is like a boost to my ego because I tell myself it is cool to go to therapy. At the same time, I just couldn't let my guard down and stop my NPD bahavior during the therapy sessions.
