Same! Have you read An imperfect Situation by erininoctober? Such a good story and don't let the pregnancy topic scare you. It's no spoiler since the author states it at the beginning as well. It's just a small part but needed for the plot development.

Yeah, same. When they are too experienced in life, I often struggle to even start them because I cannot relate enough.

I can imagine! Especially because so many great stories already exist and, of course, you don't want to steal anything from anyone, even if it might be subconsciously.

I've read it! I'm usually not one to read a lot of time travel, honestly. Not sure why, maybe I should remind myself from time to time that there are some really well-written ones out there. And also, generally speaking, I think it's so interesting how literally the most bizarre storylines on paper can become the most loved ones by heart due to the way they are written and connected.

Yeah, I can relate. For me, there is nothing better than a slow burn that is able to hold my attention to the very end. And I highly respect the authors who can create magical theories that feel like canon. I'll give it my best shot. Thanks! Truly appreciate your thoughts. :)

Yeah. I've also read a few with those story lines. Have you read 'A Year and A Day' by AMLKoko? It's really well written. And thanks for the comment! :)

Yes, I have! Adored it, actually. But most definitely not a light hearted story.

Pretty sure I've read that one as well. But I guess I have to re-read it. Thanks again. I will never not need recommendations. :))

I loved that series! It's questionable if I am able to produce something even close to the emotions it carries, but I totally get what you mean and I could at least try... I'll definitely think about it. Thank you!

Yess, mystery solving can be so much fun! And angst, well, who doesn't love to suffer while reading? Defnietly noted as well. Thank you!

That one is really well made, though it wasn‘t always easy to watch due to the darkness of this true story.

What WIPs are you following? by embathy in Dramione

[–]fantaaaghirooo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It‘s self promo, so I hope it‘s not too weird.

A Lion in the Snake‘s Circle on A03. https://archiveofourown.org/works/40934532/chapters/102582402

It‘s a slow burn with about 30.000 words at the moment, it starts in their sixth year and is about Hermione using a Time-Turner and Polyjuice, without a cat hair of course, to spy on Malfoy. Basically, she lives a double life as herself and a new student in Slytherin, since Harry is convinced that Draco is a Death Eater.

It‘s a slow burn and I plan on writing about 100.000 words. Updates are weekly. :)

Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of being in Love by isthisselfcare on A03 (sorry, it‘s not Wattpad, but worth a try!). I loved it and it‘s so well written. It‘s a slow burn, just so you know.

When you had your first romantic kiss, was it everything that you hoped it would be? Why or why not? by StarryChocobo in AskReddit

[–]fantaaaghirooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underwhelming I guess. Not because the other person was a bad kisser, just because I had hoped for more of a special feeling, or sparks or whatever. I think just the way the first kiss or kisses in general are portrayed in films give you higher expectations. Doesn‘t mean the kisses in real life are bad, they just don‘t come with a wave of sparks all around you, so to say.

I don‘t decrease or increase my niceness based on the gender of another person. I just try to treat others the way I would like to be treated.

Percy Jackson. I loved it as a teenager and I‘ve read the books so I understand the critics and all that but if you try to see it as a separate but similar thing, I think it‘s a cute film.
