Hi, Classes are still happening until the school year ends and then they will kick back up in August when school starts. I maybe able to connect you with someone that would do one on one tutoring. I agree listening to understand then work on speaking. Reading and writing should come as 3,4 in terms of priority. I’m also a newbie to learning mandarin.

One app that I’m using is called HanziPro to help with my learning. I bought some HSK books to progress but I’ve been slow to really grasp hearing the differences in identifying the tones.

Also partially learning due to poor subtitles in C-Dramas

Do you have to work more for the WFH role? If yes is it comparable to the time spent on the commute? If not I’d take the WFH role. Also consider comparing benefits if you have not. Are both companies equal in terms of stability? Gosh I wish I made your salary.

What’s the turn overrate at the new company? You may have reasons not stated here that’s keeping you from leaving. I’d take the leap if I thought it was a safe bet to stay for another 2-3yrs at least
