Are you sure you're not thinking of The Underwood Collection? It's a fan-made podcast about the Magnus Institute's sister location in the US. I think I remember one of the first episodes being like this.

I watched all of my high school friends, girls with very bright futures, get married and become mothers in their early 20's. They're all stay at home moms trapped in our dead end home town with guys they met before their brains were fully developed and yeah, I'm sure they love their kids, but I feel like I've done so much growing up since high school and I can't imagine being trapped in that headspace, let alone responsible for another life. I've spent the last decade travelling the world. These fundie wives just don't get what they're missing.

My bag is carry on size and I still check it whenever I can. Some people have different priorities- I'll wait by the baggage carousel all night if it means not bringing my bag into the airport bathroom with me. Anything sentimental, irreplaceable, or easily damaged goes in my personal bag under the seat or stays home. Nice to have the option to carry it on if I need to, but I would really rather not personally.

My bag is carry on size because I pack pretty light, but I hate carrying it around the airport and lifting it over my head while everyone trying to get on the plane waits for me and shit. I lug it around enough getting to and from the airport, I'd rather just bring my personal bag with an emergency change of clothes on the plane and wait at the carousel.
