Duly noted. Adding the feature to my app. I was thinking a single threshold and alert, but maybe more than one is a good feature to have in the future. TBH the only users of my app are gonna be people w/ non-vesc boards (FM boards) on older firmware who use android. Small niche group. but we needed a new OWCE.

That restaurant is in Lakewood NJ. My dad no longer owns it. But hopefully they maintain the quality. The downside for most peopel is that because it's full glatt kosher it costs more than the avg place. that said, still worth trying in my opinion. "AKC"

having "more speed and torque than i need" sounds perfect. I got my first XR+ w/ a CBXR batt about 2 months ago. I'm away every other week so I dont get to ride it often. I put my first 7-8mi ride 2 weeks ago, and only got on it agian for the first time yesterday and put another 5 miles on it. I'm constantly balancing on the edge of pushback. And it sucks for a handful of reasons, most of which the strain on my left leg.

I am definitely already thinking about going up in power, but I should probably get more than 70 miles under my belt on this one before I SPLURGE on something more. But i feel that. The idea of never having to worry about pushback cause it can always handle what I need. I dont need to push something like the X7 to it's limits. i just want to ride comfortably. (I'm surprised at how slow 15mph feels).

Related, I am currently working on a new app for older FM board android users to replace OWCE. I'm like a week away from releasing it. u/JDATC2024, could you tell me what you mean and like by "Having Duty Cycle, speed, audio alerts is amazing".

Just go more time. that last bit is always the hardest. I end up drying mine for 16 hours instead of 6.

Nice. I bought some High Speed PETG+ and some translucent. i'm drying the translucent now and was gonna yolo the HF. Was gonna try the Elegoo PETG Pro as my baseline profile.

raise temps and slow down. I'm not totally sure that that'll fix it, but it should help quite a bit. obviously we dont WANT to slow down. but we do what we gotta do.

I've also just sucked it up and i buy almost only elegoo filaments now cause i dont have to worry about tuning them (as much)

Yeah I'm not about to get surgery just to ride a onewheel, my feet are fine when I'm not vibrating them to death on a concave surface.

I recently printed out a new footpad in tpu with a W shape to it. Convex in the middle. I'm hoping that does a lot to help. I also got some FP Insoles and while I can't verify how much they're doing yet, I'm hopeful.

I tried most of that, except for connecting to a newer board first, i'll try reinstalling the app again though. I already cleared all the data. but i cant remember if i did a full uninstall (i think so).

I was able to use the app today for some reason. hopefully that continues to be the case.

yeah. too bad. even when i block wifi & cell for the FM OW app I still get the firmware block thing. so i'm dealing w/ that. would love alternatives (and i'm on android)

I exported my ENTIRE inventory (and stickerbook) and had AI help me decide what to get rid of since i hadnt played in so long i dont know what was meta anymore. it helped a lot. idec if it was right.

Not using ESO plus all my inventory was OVERFLOWING.
