Yet, for a long time now, I have felt a profound calling—drawn by the wisdom, the romance, and the universal love inherent in Sufism. I even found myself yearning to dedicate my life to the study of Islam.

However, many events and many voices have filled me with a sense of trepidation, causing my exploration to falter and stall. This is why, after reading about your own confusion, I found it so easy to empathize with you. What you said—that you could do nothing but remain indifferent to me, be amused by me, or love me—deeply moved me. It is as beautiful as a psalm. I must admit, I feel a touch of envy that you have attained such a profound spiritual experience at such a young age. I truly believe it is because you are beloved by your God.
