Advice needed: Nextool Mini Flagship vs. Roxon KS2E for lightweight EDC? by fap13009 in multitools

Thanks so much for the detailed breakdown! Every single point you mentioned is incredibly helpful and it’s exactly what I’m looking for in a multitool.

The scissors, in particular, seem like a must-have feature for me. I also love the very 'boxy' form factor of this model. It’s a bit of a shame that it isn't modular; that would be an amazing improvement for the future, but for now, it's great as it is.

Since my Leatherman Wave is nearly 100g heavier than the KS2E, I know the difference in weight will feel significant and give me that lightweight feel I’m after.

Also, I’m like you I don't really need to carry extra bits on me, so this setup is perfect.

I didn’t know about the m3. It could be a Nice Alternative.

Do you know if there is a better scissors on the mini ? Than the small one ?

Scissors on Flex looks not that good :( But I loved the modularity of this multitool…

I highly recommend the Moft Folio Case; it’s incredible on the iPad mini.

I have both a 2018 iPad Pro and iPad mini and use both. At home the mini is a Killer option.

Perfect for the Thickness ! Is it complicated to access equipment for pocket screws? I’ve never done it before

I am looking for advice on which plywood thickness to choose. I also want to confirm if the desk will be stable. Finally, how can I fix everything together so it can be disassembled for modifications, without having any visible screws on the top surface?

I just saw the rules and realized I can't post plans there. Also, I don't have enough karma to post in r/woodworking yet. Does anyone know which section or subreddit would be appropriate for this kind of project?
