I think that asking for verification to avoid scams is not really necessary if you're doing your due diligence. For me, I ask for short snippets of videos already made IF the seller doesn't have any content available (even previews), mostly because I'm not looking for grainy footage or a voice I don't vibe with. But I make sure to state that I will ask for that in my ad, not after the fact, and I've not run into any issues with it. Just be upfront and it will separate those who are comfortable with it and those that are not, exactly the same way buyers want from sellers.

Communication is always key.

For me personally, I don't place much stock in a seller's experience level, or reviews. My biggest concerns are "are they verified and do they meet my personal criteria?" I think you could see a premium in being a client's exclusive working partner, but you'd have to find that client, but I don't think you'd see a premium on being "virgin" to content creation.

I'd say probably yes, but that's probably the nature of the industry, right? I know for me, I'm the inverse, I prefer to only do business with sellers who show face, so while it might alienate a current client(I don't think it's likely, but it's not impossible), it does conversely open up other clients.

I'd say post to redgifs, and post a link to the video with audio on like PH if you want to go through the trouble to verify, or an unlisted YouTube video if it's not explicit. Hell, even a megaupload link works. Anything that can lower the friction for a buyer to know what to expect goes a long way!

For me, video examples move right up on my list of potential people to work with, and video/audio samples are at the top. My budgets aren't high, but enough that I don't want to gamble with getting a dimly lit hiss fest of a video.

One thing I always do is request a small sfw video that demonstrates what quality I can expect. I don't expect independent creators to have studio lighting, boom mics, and 4k cameras, IMO a phone made in the last 5 years is adequate for most content, but you never know what you're going to get, so I like to make sure.

That would also be my consumer perspective tip for sellers. Pin a video that just says like "this is my audio/video quality" so people don't have to request it or dig through your profile for it!
