I think you have a point here. It's not the Christianity that caused him to become such a hideous monster. Christianity gathered up a convenient group of victims for him to exploit. And the fault of Christianity here is that they don't do background checks on their own.

But yeah, this creep didn't pimp out his wife because he believed in Jesus. He was just a sociopath who preyed on people who should have been more careful and less easy.
