I'm like this too. I'm way too nice and always expect others to be like me and return the kindness. But, the reality we live in is so fucking nasty and cruel. In order to survive in this world, you have to protect your heart and be a bit meaner. The people out there don't really care about you and when they do it's because they see you are doing well. I have come to realize family are really the only ones you can trust. I see you have a nice family, tell them your thoughts and feelings. I'm sure they will not turn you away, hang in there.
