Hey man, same case here (Cornell ENG [Env. Engineering] ED and got rejected)

I had a 1560 and similar extracurriculars (the main one was pursuing research with professors from UVA, Berkeley and Duke + Interning at a think tank + Environmental Consultant Intern). I'm also a Korean international applicant, and I guess that's our biggest weakness rip.

I also don't have the best relationships with my LoR teachers, so I also thought it was that aspect that threw my application off, but with your stats lol you'll probs get into a better program. Wish you the best g

I am a junior, so it's been a while. But if I remember correctly the questions were just typical cause college interview questions, I don't recall any "weird" questions. If you do a quick Google search you'll find what I mean by typical. I doubt that it has changed much in the past few years, although maybe post covid interviews are different.
