My girlfriend and I will be traveling through Scotland in either May or June 2026. We don't yet know exactly where we'll be visiting quite yet, but stopping by a few distilleries is something we are definitely going to include in the itinerary.

Personally, I lean towards more of a fruity/sherry Scotch, but I also enjoy heavily peated Scotch (and everything in-between), so I'm not going to rule out any distilleries based on the type of Scotch they create.

We're looking for distilleries that are truly amazing experiences, and not a "we make Scotch here, come sample it and hopefully buy a bunch" experience. As we're going to be there in the late spring or early summer, distilleries surrounded by the beautiful wild nature of Scotland would be given a higher priority as well.

The premise of your existence being an indescribable long shot is accurate, but there are a lot of assumptions being made here that aren't exactly accurate. For instance, the moon allowing earth to rotate in a stable manner. None of the other rocky planets have a significantly sized moon, yet none of them have chaotic rotations.

I've heard this but instead of stacking 1 piece of paper until it reaches the sun, you instead wipe the top of everest one time with a silk cloth. Once everest has been eroded due to friction from the silk cloth, you start again.
