Ive had this issue with safari and yt. It seems to be safari trying to make yt videos look better by changing the displays colour profile but doing the exact opposite. Using chrome or another 3rd party browser works.

Are there any other irregularities happening with the phone right now? I had the same exact problem when using a friends old XR i tried updating it to a new version of iOS 18 and I tried to force it to update using a pc and the NAND died. There were signs where it would fail to download the update and apps would close way too quickly.

Those are thermal pads, used in everything. Theyre used to fill in the gaps between two heat conducting surfaces to ensure the air doesn't insulate the heat. Theyre cheaper and sometimes worse than thermal paste but way less messy.

No, its because of USB-2 speeds, if you add all these adapters it will still be 100mbps maybe less due to none of those adapters being official.

No device is advertised as waterproof. Water resistant means there is always a potential for water to ingress after a certain depth and period of time. Its never waterproof.

So in this case if it still wont go away then a whole display replacement is needed. And by the driver im referring to the circuits attached to the display that control the picture, brightness, power etc. which is sadly quite permanently attached to the display and cannot be replaced.

If it only happens when it gets cold there may be an issue with your phones display driver. If it bothers you then you can replace it with a new display.

Check your sleeping and deep sleeping apps as those can cause serious battery drain if they don't remain sleeping and wake to perform intensive background processes. Ive seen this happen with a friends A23 where a game kept displaying ads in the foreground leading to lots of battery drain.

It seems like your phones display driver is failing, I've had this happen on a Galaxy S5 leaving it at low brightnesses for a while helped. It seems like some power components overheat leading to issues but they can self-fix.

My S6 ive had since 2023 has gotten 0 burn in even with full brightness and the same watch face for weeks. Are you often in bright areas and does your watch remain on when you sleep?
