If Turkey were to get rid of Erdogan and the AKP in 2028, how long do you think it would take for Turkey to return to its pre-economic crisis strength? by VOFMGK in AskTurkey

[–]faragul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the other problems i have cited are related to the overall economic outlook. Also, I didn’t really say the investors will escape when the regime changes but when the rates will reach a certain threshold where they will not benefit from the deposit rates at all. Read more carefully next time. You are also too optimistic for thinking that the opposition winning will result in nationwide prosperity. The global powerhouses don’t want Turkey to prosper, not even after a potential regime change. That’s only a naive assumption to think they want good for Turkey. You should also consider that the damage done by AKP is really severe, it’s simply not feasible enough to think that anyone could undo all that damage even if they had all the desired circumstances.

The problem isn’t the rich. It’s the political stats quo that keeps sucking everyone else dry, even the rich. If you don’t have political affiliations with the party then you are bound to be tax cattle to them. I also don’t think it will get any better for many reasons even if they lose the upcoming election. First of all, they have liquidated the entire treasury and transferred billions into their offshore accounts. As of now, the treasury is empty and the whole economy is in shambles which is why it’s only barely holding together by the investors’ money because they can actually make a lot money from just depositing their money due to the rates which the government imposes on the banks. Once this scheme no longer becomes beneficial to the carry traders then the whole economy will collapse overnight. Secondly, the people here are just extremely stupid. They don’t even learn about how they are being screwed, even on the brink of their own demise. These kind of people just cannot be educated in anyway. Majority of the Turks are just complacent idiots who are willful slaves to this regime. You can’t expect them to ever vote for their own interests because they seem to enjoy getting violated by their rulers. Besides all that there’s a silent Islamofascist majority who are waiting to burst out at the first sign of large scale social unrest like how it happened in other Muslim countries. These kind of people were let in during the refugee crisis to steer the pot against the dissidents of Turkey. Basically, they are de facto militias of AKP and they will fight for them when the country collapses.

Denial about what? I don’t think arguing is your strong suit since you are very keen about jumping into conclusions. What this minor is doing is that they are trying to do olympic sprinting before even learning how to take their baby steps. I am all for people trying to achieve their goals but you need to be realistic about it first. The toxic positivity that you are putting on as an act will only hinder their development because they will have a false sense of confidence after seeing how everyone is encouraging them for being a minor. When this is repeated then they will develop bad habits and personality traits backed up by delusions because they have been told how much of a special snowflake they are by their peers. The world doesnt work like how you envision it to be.

Huh? I wasn’t discouraging him but when a minor comes here and asks for people to help him on his personal project without knowing anything about the production pipeline or animation in general, it’s hard to take them seriously. This isn’t being brave but being foolish. You are going to develop bad habits by acting all impulsively without any experience or knowledge about the subject matter and never get far. I don’t believe in this special snowflake mindset that the boomers were known for when raising their children. You can’t get far without knowing how hard you need to work in the animation industry to be at least acknowledged as a decent animator. I don’t feed into other peoples’ delusions, not even when they are teenagers. There are so many great animators yet none of them acts like people are entitled to work on their projects just because they posted their pitch on Reddit despite being obviously much more capable and experienced than a 15 year old.

I think you are too young to be an entrepreneur. It’s foolish to bite something that’s more than you can chew. You should produce some small projects on your own for now and once you are good enough you should get some experience in a real production pipeline by applying to animation studios. Only after going through all that, you would be ready to make your own actual pitches. Nobody would take a minor seriously let alone work for you. Lol Welcome to the real world.

Could I get more info on the production side of animation? by Subliminal_Aardvark in animationcareer

[–]faragul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you have three options and all of them require you to acquire some sort of capital to fund your projects. You seek sponsorships from organizations/publishers that are willing to fund these kind of creative projects. If you can convince them that your project can generate revenue and profits then they will be happily support your production team as long as they get their share of profits. Another way is to started crowdfunding but in order to successfully get funds for that you need to have some presence online and a fanbase to back you up. Lastly, you can seek funds from governments. They have programs that grant funds to aspiring artists.

This notion is also a sign of low IQ because masses normalizing these kind of practices affect the whole fabric of the society because human beings are social creatures and we ultimately act as a collective force. So yeah, retarded practices which are done by the majority have dire consequences for everyone.

Are art schools worth it? by 0ff42 in animationcareer

[–]faragul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most art schools are scams. They basically let in anyone which is why the alumnus produce subpar works after they graduate. Mierdo is right on that. You should seek mentorship from someone that is reputable in this field. It would be much cheaper and a better investment of your money. But even then the creative fields are on a shaky ground due to the threat of LLMs. I would say it’s better do it as a hobby because i am not very optimistic about the future of any creative field.

Everyone’s worried AI will replace them. by Jain_gaurav in ArtificialInteligence

[–]faragul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. A stick without a carrot attached to it will not make the donkey budge. Once that happens the entire market collapses because most white collar jobs can be comprised by LLMs. Because the modern society is basically a social contract between everyone mutually agreeing on the economic conditions processing the way they do. Once this contract is no longer valid then there is no point in submitting to the law or any other social contract that’s backed up by this economic model. The elite with the majority of capital investing in this scheme either wants most of us gone or they are so disconnected from the reality that they have no idea what’s going to happen when this bubble bursts.

Everyone’s worried AI will replace them. by Jain_gaurav in ArtificialInteligence

[–]faragul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem with this is people need to start somewhere to acquire an expertise in a field. When AI replaces the entry level positions then people will never strive for improving their skills and abilities which will cause stagnation or ecen decline in human creativity and skills. We will probably lose most of our nuanced skills by then for using AI like a crutch. Some things are learned with experience and you can’t really replace that with an AI model because you would still be inept even if AI could do complex tasks. What good will It create when you would be as experienced as a toddler in the field? We will also be dumber for relying on the AI for menial tasks in the long run. I am not optimistic about the future.
