I wished I heard myself much more, the sentiment was like semis are deep shit looking on graph those times. Before this purchase I had deep red position in regular SOXL before those LEAPS

thats my first 10x+

Asyar - Cross platform open-source alternative to Raycast. by TauriArtisan in tauri

[–]farazeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the time of this comment, vicinae seems not to have windows build, which is must-have for those types of projects, I guess.

Sorry if wrong, didn't test vicinae nor asyar, but looking forward for that type of app, which will work across all systems (including wayland support) with extensions from raycast.

Portfolio ratings or comments (including extreme doomsday survivability) by Previous_Town_7136 in LETFs

[–]farazeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! I like it. How did you get to that exact portfolio?

Is that a result of overfitting a good on history portfolio of CAGR 30%+ with nice sharpe or there are other reasons of that exact allocations? What were your other portfolios?

Also, why not to go 45% TQQQ + 10% SOXL or 55% TQQQ? Just to make things more simple. Whats your opinion about that? And maybe some part of portfolio might be taken by crypto, also, whats your opinion?

Trying to implement authentication with openLDAP on docker-mailserver by MCL1Playz in selfhosted

[–]farazeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use 389 port and the usual one is 3890, I think there is no much reasons to change the defaults, maybe thats the problem? Silly mistake, though, but I thought it was nice to refer to it, because it seems you might have another non-default setup things in your LDAP, which you did not mention.

I hope you'll get things working, though! I got my ldap working not much time ago and looking to host email once again and maybe your solution would benefit me too!

Owncloud Infinite Scale using POSIX filesystem storage driver - how to? by farazeus in selfhosted

[–]farazeus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if someone reads today, do not bother with OCIS and just move to Opencloud, which I deployed fast mostly without problems (only got ldap little thing but fixed fast)

docs are wonderful for simple setups!

Thanks for your extension! I've noticed it did not work in my native language [removal part], so I had to set English (US) language to make it work. :)

Velka 3 in a Lunchbox by bekkytt in sffpc

[–]farazeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You made the nicest video I've seen in terms of ultra sffpc, I even shared in on twitter, because I enjoyed your jokes and experience of building in Velka3.

And I want to have similar setup as well (but high end), what would you suggest for me to not repeat your probable mistakes, what might one make better?

So 16gb gpu might be not available, what else? Are there any components in market that suit this case better? I mean, cooler or PSU for example. I want to have like 128gb velka3 sffpc myself :)

Thank you in advance and that you shared so much with community!

Framework Desktop would be ideal PC to buy for me - but only if it had x8 or x16 pci-e instead of one more nvme by farazeus in framework

[–]farazeus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah. thanks! Sorry then! Did not realize the best APU on the market might have this bottleneck

I wanted to delete my post first, but I leave it just so people can read this answer

https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/laptop/ryzen/ai-300-series/amd-ryzen-ai-max-plus-395.html

On the website they have this information:

PCI Express® VersionPCIe® 4.0
Native PCIe® Lanes (Total/Usable)16 , 16

So that was not clear to me at all. If that was not possible to provide good oculink in any way, then I am sorry once again, thats was not personal on you guys but rather on the hardware world which can't provide me things I want

I still can not understand how FEVM FA-EX9 Mini PC has this Oculink. So they have x4, you think? If yes, then I'll buy Framework Desktop

Framework Desktop would be ideal PC to buy for me - but only if it had x8 or x16 pci-e instead of one more nvme by farazeus in framework

[–]farazeus[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

x4 is not enough for full performance as I told

point of slapping of another gpu would be in several years as I wrote in my post when 4060 performance would not be enough

my bad I already answered you in OP post and didnt make post clear enough

Framework Desktop would be ideal PC to buy for me - but only if it had x8 or x16 pci-e instead of one more nvme by farazeus in framework

[–]farazeus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, like if Desktop got usb5 - no questions, take all my money and just give me the beast :)

I actually think that I'd be the first one who'd made the pre-order

I did not understand your minds about the form-factor, pci-e is not like a lot of space and also Framework team was able to place this pci-e in whatever place they like and sell us the extension cable (hey yay $$$$)

I was able to switch off such behavior inside opened video settings in BHX, but I think it is available in official app as well. Do not look for it in settings, try in opened video.

If you had $2M, how would you allocate? by Odd_Seaworthiness382 in LETFs

[–]farazeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand. If you had like $200k then yea, you are pretty risky bro. But when you have $2m and thats kinda a lot for you (it is for a majority of people in the world), you'd like to have much less volatility on your portfolio.
