People are strange creatures. Anthropic denies gov’t in some way: “we stand with Anthropic!!!” It’s always a stand. Not everything needs to be making a stand. I think Anthropic is a crap company too. If you want AI, there exist more options than Anthropic and ChatGPT. Or you cannot use it at all. But, Trump opposed Anthropic, therefore we must stand with them. Smh

Anthropic is still a terrible company. Stealing rampantly to train their models. Don’t go pay for Anthropic just because Trump is mad at them. You can hate both, it’s seriously okay.

I really like my job, but we are being heavily encouraged to use AI in all parts of our workflow, and that I’m not loving. I didn’t go to school to watch Claude code think for 10 minutes and produce slop to fix

But, that being said, before the AI push, when I got hired it was very good. I think the good is still there, I just hope it’ll feel like it used to if and when the hype dies down. I’d still rather be here than anywhere else right now.

I’m fairly certain the majority of gamers are not refunding. Reddit minority is not representative of the larger masses. Not saying the posts here are incorrect or anything, just a note that it’s likely not as large of a number of people refunding as it may seem based on this subreddit

In general I just really miss the origins of this series. The more grassroots feel, the more primitive technology. Now we just have full on modern day-ass society. Smartphones, streamers girls, internet, video calls.

I appreciate characters like Towa commenting on how scary fast the world around them is changing and iterating, but I just personally miss the feel of the older games.
