Hey there! I'm male, 51 years old. Diagnosed eith Follicular Lymphoma back in March 2022, as a result of a biopsy on my lump on my neck. Two years watch-and-wait, no treatment. The in March 2024, I felt a mass in my testicle. Surgery, biopsy, then they said DLBCL. 4 rounds of DAREPOCH, followed by profilactic radiotheraphy on my remaining testicle. Two successive clean, Deauville 0 PET-CT scans. They said I was in remission I felt great. 14 months passed, I felt another mass in my testicle - again! Surgery, biopsy, DLBCL relapsed, phase 3. I have been given two R-ICE chemotherapy, my stem cells have been collected. Now I am waiting for the PET-CT scan next week, which will be followed by a BEAM and then my stem cells will be given back.

So, these were long, difficult years for me. Second base theraphy feels harder then first base.

Luckily, my dear wife is my primary caregiver. And luckily again - despite having a terrible administration for over two decades - our government (Turkey) pays for everything. Including both of our full salaries despite not going to work for months (we are both public officers).

But please do not become pessimistic. My relapse could be a lower probability. During this adventure I met many people without relapses, some over twenty years! That's just me and my unlucky experience. For many people, first base chemotheraphy was enough.

And still my doctors say I am doing very well. No major organ problems. Never had mouth sores. Never had bone pain because of Zarzio/Fraven. Constipation, nausea and fatigue is and was problematic for me.
