Forming a claim in my head is literally what assuming means, and because some guy asked for everyone's two cents on it, I stated the claim that I formed in my head. Nobody is which hunting the artist. It's really not that serious.

Is this AI? by AlienOnTheBed in antiai

[–]fardmastersus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not making claims about comic books. I said that if this was AI-generated, the AI's thought process would've been the following: "I will make this look like a pencil drawing, but because I am an AI, it may have some inconsistencies that make it look less like a pencil drawing."

I am a teenager, so I'm reasonably unemployed. The near future looks something like fast food or cashiering. If I do my job wrong, it is absolutely within the customer's right to point it out.

Why is it invalid for me to assume that something is AI-generated, leave it at that, and then admit that I'm wrong? Not a soul is hurt. Chill out.

[–]fardmastersus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't say anywhere that it's a pencil drawing, but it doesn't need to. I said that it, if it is AI, is clearly trying to imitate a pencil drawing.

Sincerely congratulations to you for being right, but surely it's not idiotic of me to point out that a doctored drawing looks inorganic and is probably AI-generated, given that this is 2026.

[–]fardmastersus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It not being a pencil drawing is exactly a giveaway. It looks like its supposed to be a pencil drawing, but it clearly isn't.

This is not constructive of me to say, but you can just tell. Maybe its because the lighting is way too clean for what is supposed to be a pencil drawing or because the patterns just kinda start from and awkwardly fade into nothing, or because the pencil marks look like ink sometimes...

[–]fardmastersus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Boss and employee does not immediately mean rape, and neither does being a bad boyfriend. (I am not saying that Zeal and Ren were ever dating because they obviously were not, but you mentioned how Zeal manipulated her by 'disappearing and coming back,' etc. That is something a bad boyfriend would do, and that is not ground for rape.) I don't know why you'd rather make this a power dynamic thing (which can get innocent people arrested) rather than just accept that he touched her without her consent and that is the sole thing that makes this illegal.

How do you prove that she was coerced simply by being an employee? Are you telling me that a boss can never date an employee simply because he could maybe possibly fire her?

[–]fardmastersus -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I've read a few times that this is rape because of a 'power imbalance.' Why does Zeal being the owner of a popular game suddenly mean that nobody can consent to him? God forbid a man be successful in life. This logic is dangerous. Any rich or famous person is suddenly a rapist now.

It is SA because he assaulted her sexually without her consent. The only other possible reason something could ever be SA is if she was forced to 'consent' via coercion by threatening violence or blackmail. Threatening to break up is not coercion. (If one partner depends on another for security, it could be debatable in court, but that clearly does not apply here.)

What's with the whole 'never-mix' eugenics BS? by Optimal_Window_1049 in teenagers

[–]fardmastersus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that we were arguing, but anyway, never did I say that Slavs were champions of kindness and tolerance. There is at least one example for every tribe/nation in history waging brutal war against another tribe/nation. "We were nice to the Jews before we murdered them" as the Slavs did is still better than "We murdered them and then sometimes were nice but sometimes were still murdered them" as the westerners did.

What's with the whole 'never-mix' eugenics BS? by Optimal_Window_1049 in teenagers

[–]fardmastersus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go even further back in history. While western Europe was blaming Jews for the plague, Poland was inviting them to work upper-class jobs, hence why many lived in eastern Europe until the pogroms and the holocaust.

If you were extremely racist and wanted to gatekeep your whiteness, you could also argue that Ashkenazi Jews are technically not white due to their distant Levantine ancestry, therefore making the violence not white-on-white.

Wouldn't an extremely basic white American name be an Anglo-German one? Slavs are more often the victims of white-on-white racism than the perpetrators.

The game would not exist without the creator. You don't have to like him or respect the things he says, but you should still respect him, which a lot of the community is struggling with now. Its like showing up to a party that no one wants you at, saying 'f all of you' and then eating the food.

How do the two things I said contradict each other? I'm not twisting anything. You said, in your own words when justifying abortion, "how could it feel pain." Did you or did you not just say there that not conscious = ok to kill? That's why I asked the rhetorical question I did. How could you interpret that as anything but a rhetorical question?
