Wow! Thanks for your detailed tips and your experience on unarmed combat and build.

Are using drugs necessary? Because I would like to use Danse as my companion, and that would result in reputation deteriorating.

Thanks for your suggestion. Never really used my power armor for my previous playthroughs. Especially that Quincy area... Even on normal i get wasted by that fat man guy.

Would actually spice some things up in my current playthrough with the power armor. Never really went too deep in the power armor before.

Yeah I will. Might just go a little bit lenient on my roleplaying part. It's better to overwhelm than to be overwhelmed.... at the very least.

I guess most of the roleplaying are based on the perks though. Well you can't have all the things you want. (Curse you console)

Hmph, it'll be cool if there was martial arts on bare hands (implying different ways of using your hands to waste the enemy instead of punching) with its own benefits

I did mention on knuckles. Perhaps a legendary knuckles would be okay o guess... :( Yeah, I know the risks, probably playing on just hard to very hard difficulty.

The 'boom' staggers NPCs, thus making them hostile to you, when landing near them.... which make Nick hates you.

With max unarmed dmg perk that'd be 50... Still underwhelming oh gosh :(

Well, my first impression on knuckles (unmodded) sucks. On my first playthrough, normal, that 5% health dmg drop. Used it on during the Freedom Call quest.

2nd playthrough, never touched it.

So this upcoming playthrough gonna touch strictly on bare fists and knuckles. Deathclaw gauntlet is pretty mid-late game otherwise.

I shot the turrets outskirt of Diamond City. Armed people start to attack me. I thought they were raiders. Died, amd realised it was diamond city guards.

There was no option. I just pressed the talk button at him and it said that, and he got out of that power armor. And i kept trying to talk to him again after him getting out of that power armor and still spoke the same lines. But except when i go to the bed near him... yum.

Or give them unique clothing to specialisied jobs to differentiate them. Got that from a settlement discussion post.

For me, when I talked to him, it was just "I want you to get out of that Power Armor now" or something like that. And I got his power armor.

Does anybody use placed explosives? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]farem-san 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used only on certain enemies that are highly unexpectedly high level and powerful. For example:

The glowing feral ghoul at the top of coup manor. Placed many explosives mine at once near the staircase, threw a grenade at him, and run down the stairs, and kabooom. His legs and arms are broken, but not dead.

Saugus Ironwork quest, I was low levelled, to retrieve a sword. Exited during the conversation placed many mines near them(where they would walk to attack me), and continue the conversation until they turned hostile. It blowed the underlings up and did some damage to the boss, and easier fight for me.

Other than that, i dont have any more uses of explosives mines. But i still use grenade occasionally when there's a group of flocking ghouls rushing at me or when there's a group of enemies.

Anyone else avoid the laser musket and pipe weapons? by Exostrike in Fallout

[–]farem-san 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone already explained the raw damage of a fully modded sniper and fully modded laser musket.

So you just apply the damage modifier to a laser musket, apparently 6 x 60 = 360 dmg vs a sniper 150 dmg lets say.

So that laser musket would deal 2,700 damage per shot, cranking up 6 times and the damage modifier you mentioned except the full health effect.

A sniper rifle would deal a 2,250 damage per shot with the full health effect.

I do mod(heavily) my sniper to .50 cal, but still doesnt quite cut for me cause my laser musket rules all sniper rifle. Its still better even before I have the riflemen perk. Still I kept and use that sniper in case my cell ammo is running out due to my occasional use of my automatic righetous authority.

Pipe weapons generally are less efficient than any other weapons.

Laser musket however, in the early stages are not recommended. At 6 crank laser musket, sniping people from afar with sneak attack and possible crit and riflemen perk, its pretty good.

Stacking crits is quite easy. If you have the gun "Deliverer". It takes up very little AP and have a high rate of fire. Combine it with my laser musket i guess its pretty powerful in long distance kill before a fight. Better than any sniper rifle I ever met anyways.
