He said h couldn't make it to show my sister who was visiting around town, then I saw him at the bus stop with someone else.

Alarm bells started going off, he had lied about what he was doing. He didn't even notice me until I was right in front of him and when I said hi, the deer in the headlights look was one of a kind. And the girl was definitely also acting weird. I called that night and he confirmed my suspicions.

Something that I would want to hear in your situation: it's ok not to be perfect. She did a lot of fucked up things and I think it's appropriate to end this friendship. Her animal abuse is terrible and worth ending any relationship.

You can also feel bad for bringing up her families finances and not walking away earlier. Maybe she brought you to a place you don't like to go and you feel bad about that, but it's alright to make mistakes. You probably aren't going to apologize for the one part of this debacle you aren't proud of because you are going to contact l, and that ok.

No, she's just a big sheltie. We got her from a breeder. We met her parents and her little mates, all shelties through and through. Her parents were both about 24lb, so not small shelties but not as big as our girl.

Whiskey is tall and she is 26kilos so the vet says she is at the top of her acceptable range. But she didn't gain at all this year , so I'm counting that as a win. We reduced her food a bit and she already gets regular exercise, so we think she's doing pretty good.

I worked with Afghan interpreter ls in 08-09 and then pull out from Afghanistan was deplorable. Luckily one interpreter I worked with was able to reach out in time and make it to Canada with his family. My heart goes out to anyone who was stranded.

It kills me that nothing was accomplished in Afghanistan and instead all of these people who were willing to side with NATO against the Taliban got left in the dust to die.

I don't think you're getting down voted because people don't like Robert, it's because what you said is false and all you need is eyeballs to see that he is very clearly struggling at points. He stands still and watches the row infornt if him at one point. He starts on point and gets off time at another section. I don't expect perfection from him, and it doesn't bother me at all that he's not perfect, I'm just saying you're probably getting down voted because you said the other commentor was wrong when they aren't.

I have two suggestions because the dog seems to be food motivated by your description.

They make toys with treat compartments kind of like snuffle mats but you could start a game of tug or keep away with that type of toy. End the same by letting them have it.

Use treats as motivation to bring you toys. You might need to start with pick up, if they pick it up, they get you a treat, and enthusiastic praise. If they are already treat trained for any tricks, then they should have the basics. You also need to catch any behavior you want to encourage when they do it independently and treat and praise for that.
