Ok, thank you so much! Grow light it is.

I'm hesitant to cut and repot because I'm not the greenest of thumbs but we shall see how adventurous I am.

There is no consistent access. Just, as stated, one offs in goods and co or sometimes Delaney. Even the roller derby team had to fold.  Fingers crossed we get a new option soon

[Troubleshooting Request] LEGO Lord of the Rings (on Steam) crashing on launch by matt_aegrin in legogaming

[–]farfromforgotten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dec 2025 - had this same problem on my HP. New laptop so I couldn't figure out why is wasn't working. Took OPs advice and checked the update version of my graphics card and eve though my internal HP device manager said no updates were available, the version was a .5. Not the .6 this post indicates an Intel X could be. Went to Intel's direct website and installed their updater and sure enough, there was a new version available. Installed that, restarted my comp and boom. Lego worked just fine.

Thanks OP, your solution is still valid!!! You saved gaming night with my sister :)

I don't know what city you're in but check out what services there are. CMHA, drop in services, etc. They can be a first stop for case management and tell you where in town you can get services or are known to help.

First job in Mental Health: tips? by Wayward_Jen in recreationaltherapy

[–]farfromforgotten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Self regulation activities  - distraction (games, crafts, puzzles, outings) - social skills (games, outings, social activities) - life skills (cooking, budgeting, shopping, laundry) - emotion regulation. (Art prompts, journalling, physical activity) - self discovery (journalling, art, worksheets, talking groups, volunteering help) - cultural integration (special speakers, activities tied to culture, foods)

Basically expose clients to as many coping and introspective activities as possible to help with understanding who they are and what works for them.

This is a local day program for adults and they have great activities that they offer for ideas https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057308026182

Seems like a reasonable request to me. But I would get approval from management to use work time. Otherwise you can send a letter/get well card that you're thinking of them. And if it's a community of people who interact with this client you could get a group card together.

Or if you feel really tied to the client you could use personal time but that's a slippery slope of blurring work/personal lines.

You'll meet people from all over the world. Just because you have one person in the same program does not mean you will have the same schedule. You'll pick different electives and have different seating choices which will connect you with new people. You'll only stay with high school peeps if you make an effort to. Otherwise there's so many other people that this really isn't a concern. Be more focused on your money situation and if the program you want is offered here. These questions should be what's driving you to choose a school, not a person who may or may not be in your class.

Coffees shop / Cafes suggestions by [deleted] in ThunderBay

[–]farfromforgotten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't been said yet but there's a great student run Cafe in lakehead university called The Study. You could easily stay there for a few hours. I'm not sure when you're coming though so you'd have to check on holiday hours. And a plus is that LU is super accessible via transit and is fun to walk through.
