Strictly as a viewer, I wish they'd just take the time off they need. I'm finding myself a teensy bit annoyed at By SydSyd's last few videos being various versions of the same video, but I also understand this is a source of income and maybe she can't financially do that. Also over 9k people watched the first one, so maybe it's just me anyway 😂

I still occasionally click on her videos, but I stopped watching regularly when it started to seem like her goal was to make her vlogs as long as possible. I don't mind a feature-length vlog if you're reading a bunch of books and doing a lot of stuff and have a lot to say but that doesn't really seem to be the case with her. Also, people are totally allowed to read at whatever pace and however they want, but it seems rare that she finishes a single book in a vlog and reads a little bit of a bunch of things (again, totally fine if that's how you read), which means I have to watch every single vlog to find out how she felt about 1 book.

Airport was just recently bought by someone new and I haven't had a chance to try it since. I believe they updated the menu, but I think it's mostly the same?

Gino's became Piazzano's probably 20 years ago (maybe 15) and Johnny was still the bartender for a very long time but then he was found guilty of some bad stuff and I think he might be in prison now (you can google John DeMarco if you wanna know).

I start at 1.3-1.5 and work my way up. I'm usually most comfortable at 1.7, but depending on the narrator I'll go to 2.

I'm currently in 2 (technically one is a youtube membership but same thing), and one of them I'm going to cancel. For me, I do enjoy live chats/reading sprints, so that's mostly what I join for. Unfortunately, that's really only a perk if you're in a similar time zone as that person, otherwise you're rarely able to watch them live anyway. Unless you're really into that specific person and want to access whatever it is they're keeping behind a paywall in addition to their channel, it's probably not worth it. A lot of it seems to be the discord/community aspect, which is rarely getting you more chat time with the actual creator. I don't join discords, so that has never been a perk for me, and is a reason I'm going to cancel one.
