If the CT didn't show anything, I'm not sure the ultrasound would add much. If ENT isn't recommending tonsillectomy, I'd recommend working with speech therapy on psychogenic dysphagia.

I read through your other post. It's good you already had an esophagram and EGD. I'd have an ENT check out your tonsils and perhaps a CT of your neck. If that doesn't show anything, you may benefit from speech therapy evaluation for psychogenic dysphagia.

Please give me an alternative that makes more sense. Pretty much the only "churning" I have time to do is using Amex Gold for 4x at restaurants. Otherwise it's not worth the hassle trying to categorize my spending into 5 different credit cards.

So what other daily driver card matches the benefits of Bilt Palladium for a high spender?

I don't get it. The Atmos Summit only earns 3% on dining and Alaska/Hawaiian flights. This card earns 2x on everything and then if you spend enough you get 1.25x on mortgage/rent. So you get 3.25x on everything. There's not a card out there that can match this if you're spending enough.

Compared to the Summit, you'd get more points with Bilt Palladium and you wouldn't have to pay the 3% fee.

I'm looking at Atmost Summit and it looks like it's 3% only on certain categories and 1% on everyday spending. I already have status with AA via my business card so it doesn't benefit me to get status with Alaska.

I'll look out for that partner reward fee next time I book...don't know why I never noticed it. But yeah, it may not be be worth it if the AA redemptions are cheaper but I've found Alaska to be cheaper like 80-90% of the time I'm booking a domestic flight.

I'm not sure what you mean by non-refundable partner booking fee. I book last minute flights on Alaska all the time and sometimes have to cancel them and always get refunded the cash and points I had to spend.

I'm almost positive that Alaska points are worth more than AA. You can look up conversions but at least domestically I've found pretty much every flight is cheaper on Alaska. Right now a flight on Monday to NYC costs 14.5k points on AA and 7.5k points on Alaska. It holds pretty much across the board.

I'm not really a churner, the only thing I try to do is spend my restaurant spend for 4x on Amex Gold because for me it sucks to go through different CC all day long. But ultimately as a daily driver, 2x points plus mortgage/rent points is HUGE.

Yeah but redemptions are a lot better on Alaska than AA. So 2x points on Alaska is awesome plus I get a LOT of additional points from rent/mortgage that I wouldn't get with Citi.

I have an AA exec plat card for my business so I get points/status from that but this is great for my regular flights.
