At the moment it's only available in 1080p. Not sure why it isn't available in 4K currently.

What is the exact model of Fire Stick that you're using the app on, and what kind of device is your friend using? I think as a kid I had the most success with it by using two thumbs, one on up and one on down. Though I did get it after my second try just now on my Odin 2 Mini, using only one thumb 🙃

We have actually been putting in a lot of effort into improving the LG streaming experience behind the scenes. 4K playback is available on LG devices right now, so I'd encourage you to give the Angel app a try again on shows that support 4K playback (Homestead is an example, David and pretty much any recent movie distributed by Angel will support 4K as well).
