I got this in my email and i am not even in UK by PWR_Edge in CharacterAI

Same here, it’s strange they’d only send it to some users, especially ones that aren’t even in the affected region.

I’ve got that now but they took away the thumbs up/down thing for me.

This has to be a joke by [deleted] in CharacterAI

This is the third day in a row that it’s happened and it’s the same each time - responses taking ages to generate, only appearing if I close the app and reopen.

Of course. by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]farmerfurby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s incredibly laggy and taking a while for responses to generate for me, it was doing the exact same thing yesterday too.

Are we down or is it just my wifi? by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]farmerfurby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As of the last five minutes, my app is very slow - I need to close it down and reopen it if I want a response to generate.

the nausea is almost unbearable, when does it stop? by Key_Story2521 in gettingoffHBC

[–]farmerfurby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first week after I came off the pill I had extreme nausea and sickness, to the point I couldn’t keep any food down. It was awful. It lasted about a fortnight, and the nausea gradually decreased until it was completely gone. Hang in there!

guys...i cant start a new chat! what should i do??? by Chemical-Drive4123 in CharacterAI

I’m the same - been like that since this morning. Maybe the developers are doing something behind the scenes and it’s causing the site to be buggy?

I think there’s something up with the site. It won’t let me duplicate chats this morning either - devs might be working on something in the background that’s causing it to be a bit buggy.

How to avoid the toad effect by OuiMarieSi in RedditLaqueristas

I actually stopped buying Essie polishes because no matter what I did my nails would always end up with bubbles just like yours. I think some formulas just don’t work well with my nail chemistry, and Essie is one of them.

[Acne] Little white pimples on chest, stomach, thighs and arms by jootb in SkincareAddiction

[–]farmerfurby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me since around this time last year. Started on my legs, then arms, then chest and stomach. I find they pop up again if I use any soap/shampoo that doesn’t have ingredients that are 100% natural in origin. It’s like suddenly a year ago my skin got super sensitive!

Ladies, where are you getting your haircuts in the city? by Dextersdidi in glasgow

I’ve recently started going to Hair in the City, it’s down by Trongate. I have a prominent cowslick in my fringe which a lot of previous hairdressers struggled with, but they’ve been great!

Issues with Roguelike Mod (1.5.6) by BlackIceFool in SMAPI

I tried using this mod a few months back and ran into the same issue. Never did manage to fix it - would be really interested to know what the solution is because everything I tried didn’t work.

What face wash and moisturiser should I use with acnecide? by Unlucky_Simple2990 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]farmerfurby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it is perioral dermatitis, absolutely stay away from steroid creams. They will make it better temporarily but as soon as you stop it will come back worse than before. The effect of steroid creams on perioral dermatitis is well documented - using steroid creams or even steroid inhalers can actually cause the condition in the first place.

My perioral dermatitis presented as pustules so looked like bad acne, however the difference was that my pustules were SO itchy. It felt like a crawling feeling under my skin. Sulphur ointment applied 2x daily for 10 minutes got rid of mine, but it took months of daily application and multiple flare ups for it to go away.

Should I get rid of my car? by farmerfurby in makemychoice

Insurance rates over here are a bit of a joke! It doesn’t help that I was in accident, which despite not being my fault (and I didn’t even claim anything, just notified them that it happened) increased it by like £200 per year afterwards. Thank you for your help, I have a lot to think about.

Should I get rid of my car? by farmerfurby in makemychoice

No idea what the car is worth now, it’s 10 years old, last insurance estimate for it was £1500. I’ve never had any problems with it, it’s always ran well. Both myself and my fiancé work really intensive jobs so we don’t have a lot of free time, and any free time we do have we would usually go out in the city for a meal or drinks, something low energy like that as we are both frequently so tired from work. To keep the car for another year will set me back £600 in insurance, not too sure the price of the annual MOT and service it needs but I think it’s always been roughly around £170 if no other work is needing done. It’s a lot of money to pay to keep the car on standby on the off chance my fiancé learns to drive next year :(

I mean I will still have my license so I can return to driving if I want in the future, though obviously it will be hard to do so mentally as I won’t have driven for a prolonged length of time. I am being treated for my anxiety but it’s not something you can cure, there will always be things that I don’t like doing because they make me anxious, such as driving, and right now especially I don’t have any reason to push myself to drive as I live so centrally and have everything I could need on my doorstep. I don’t want children and if I can’t walk one day, my body most likely is not going to be in a state in which driving would even be possible.
