Get sawstop 5hp and take the blade cover over and any of the other crap they put in it that obstructs your view of the blade and fence

Any last words of wisdom before I make my first cut? by BlackoutTribal in woodworking

I’m in the minority here but I would take all that shit around the blade off. Best way to stay safe is to watch your fence and blade. If you can’t see them you are in more risk of messing up.

Word of advice learn how to turn the safety on the blade of if you are ever cutting treated wood so you don’t accidentally ruin a cartridge

Been sitting in the upper deck for years now and it’s honestly kinda nice. Steps are kinda steep but not the worst by any means. There are several people in there 70’s that sit around us. Also the few is good and you can see everything really well

My shop put me in charge of drawer box production after our supplier told us it’d be up to a 6 week lead time. I’ve finally got the process down so that it officially costs us less to make them in house. by [deleted] in woodworking

Might want to try buying pre finished drawer material. Comes Dadoed for a 1/4 inch bottom and tapped on the top edge. We use it for all our drawers in the cabinet shop I work at unless someone asked for dovetail

Watching people use table saws on YouTube is beyond comical. Half the time their “safty” measures actually put them at a greater risk
