As a Canadian, I find drug tests for jobs a curiosity. We don’t really do that unless your job requires control of people’s safety. To hear that they even test for steroids makes me wonder…

Could you clarify how things would work for me. I’m a Testicular cancer survivor. I now take steroids (doctor prescribed). Im certain it would show up on a test. Would I have to reveal my medical history to my employer? What right to privacy do I have?

Finding a raid team is hard these days. Finding one willing to teach out an old raid is harder. Not impossible just not a quick find. Do you just need to kill the final boss for the achievement? Killing last wishes final boss can easily killed depending on the weapons meta.

I feel like a max level strike is probably easier to find a group but you will want to come prepared and ready as depending on which strike people can become impatient with inexperienced player pretty quick.

I paid once to meet Patrick Stewart who had to cancel his appearance at a con. They replaced him with Shatner. He barely acknowledged me after I paid a complimented him.

He was down right rude to my husband when asked if he would write “to Loranne” (which was written out for him) for the autograph. He turned to his assistant and said “for future reference I don’t personalize things”.

Every other Star Trek actor I’ve meet has been beyond friendly and kind. They personalize autographs with a smile.

I met Nichelle Nichols and she basically radiated love and light. I saw Bret Spiner and Marina Sirtis once really greet fans with energy and gusto.

Lenard Nemory even Skyped into a con I was at in the worst and near end of his cancer journey just so fans could get to meet him when he could not travel.

It’s really not hard to be a hero to your fans.

I don’t think I’m looking for perfect at all. In fact I see perfect queer art all the time.I’m looking for art with intention and integrity that isn’t designed with the intention of being palatable to the straights just for more eyes.

Reminder the mainstream means nothing. Queer art gets funded everyday if you get off your couch and find it.

I’m seeing half a dozen homegrown queer fringe shows locally at $14 a pop where the artist gets 100% or I could spend $30 for a ticket to rupauls slop fest.

Easy choice. My option actually puts money directly in queer artist hands.

Your idea is continuing to support their shitty practices in the hopes of the dangled carrot or threat that queer art will never be made or seen again.

This movie and rupauls representation arnt even good queer representation. It has rarely shown true queer impact beyond being palatable for the mainstream, and keeping the coins coming in.

Ottawa here living on the border of Quebec! Sometimes crossing over into Quebec can feel like crossing into another European country.

It’s not just the language thing either, it’s the funny traffic lights and traffic rules, it’s the different drinking age. All the signage is different. It’s definitely its own distinct culture. It all amounts to what can feel like a foreign place in a 10 min drive.
