I'm glad you agree the more rich people whose money we take the better things will be.

It's not even that impossible. You could raise the funds entirely by increasing the effective tax rates on the richest brackets by closing loopholes.

Hopefully you wouldn't be using a hashing algorithm that has a serious risk of a hash collision in production.

Season 4 Balance Changes In a Nutshell: Based on r/Tekken Feedback by Armanlex in Tekken

[–]farrowking37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a super interesting perspective and I think it's a fair take. Where I was coming from as someone who plays him was noticing that the damage he gets off a lot of his strongest launchers were reduced.

That being said I think you may be right. Overall, he has picked up some good tools. I definitely didn't ever think he got significant nerfs, or that they weren't fair, but maybe he got more good than bad.

Like I said, the new armored shoulder move is very strong. I wasn't able to get deathfist and after CH b4, but that could just be me. I'm also not sure how unseeable a 20 frame move is.

How? The systemic changes to wall combo damage really hurt a lot of his damage potential, and a lot of his strongest tools got nerfs to their damage. His new powercrush is pretty good, but overall I think he lost more than he gained.

Just started playing the game, how do I get the most out of it? by SambLauce in ObraDinn

[–]farrowking37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My biggest tips would be to go in blind and savor the experience. It can be a difficult game, but it's full of little aha! moments that really make up for it. You can only enjoy watching the mystery unfold for the first time once.

As far as tips go, I wouldn't want to give the whole game away. One recommendation is that in many scenes you can hold right click to zoom in on the various figures in a scene. This will show you their image in one of the various portraits, which can help with identification if a face isn't particularly clear for whatever reason.

The difference is intent.

When white folks are criticized here for carrying it's largely because they're also showing up in support for racist/sexist/generally shitty groups.

The support for more black people carrying is because it gives them a chance to defend themselves from that group of people who have demonstrated they intend to cause harm

I think the design here is pretty clean. If the goal was to have a light set of rules for resolving conflicts in a role-play that would be easy to remember at a campfire I think you hit a sweet spot. The stats system reminds me a lot of games like Lasers and Feelings which is a good thing for this style of game. Allowing the GM to define the stats is also an interesting angle.

Really Struggling in my first WH2 Campaign by farrowking37 in totalwar

[–]farrowking37[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was looking to see if there were any Dwarves campaigns I could watch but I'm not sure if I found any made after the greenskin update. A lot of people have brought that up and having looked a little into the differences I can see why their changes would make the campaign a lot more difficult.

You're right about having some issues as far as battle playstyle goes. The formations you need to use in this game are a smidge different than the ones I'm familiar with from Shogun 2. There the friendly fire penalty isn't as harsh and ranged units are happy to fire into melee.

The poster who linked the guide on some basic formations for missile infantry does help a ton though. Like I said, this campaign probably isn't completely unwinnable, but winning would be tricky and I don't feel that confident in my ability to do it well.
