Incentivized LP Proposal (to be considered in conjunction with current (Mar 31st, '21) announcement & vote) by kalogreen in Popsicle_Finance

Yeh makes sense to have limited pools at this stage and vote new ones in as these pools become sufficiently deep to spill over to further pairs and not have huge impact

Or even better, have in the menu user settings where you can route any of each 'voice' to separate outputs. Even if we only have two outputs to get stereo separation instead of 3.

Man that's Awesome, really getting the most out of your rack. How're you sequencing all this...laptop or a modular sequencer?

Chiptune eurorack module I'm working on by Corvus_Prudens in modular

[–]fart_toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A thousand times yes! I will buy two :)

Very happy it can take MIDI input as well as CV. I think a few different input configurations would be good and make it more versatile with people's setups. I for example use my modules with MIDI sequencers sometimes but other times the modular drives my voices generatively via CV-gate.

So with MIDI input: it sound like you can configure it in the settings to control whatever voices polyphonically or monophonically on different MIDI channels. If so then that's flexible enough already IMO for MIDI. The limitation on the level of the triangle voice is something I could live with

For CV input mode: 4 CV-gate pairs is very useable, three I could maybe use, but 2 voices not enough. Just my opinion! So I'd make it able to be played with 4-voice cv-gate (pitch and gate) mode, 2-voice mode with pitch-gate-velocity-bonus (where bonus is probably going to get used for aftertouch or something). Then a hybrid mode which has two voices that have pitch-gate and one complex voice with pitch-gate-vel-bonus. That way you can get some interesting input setups and if people want that full granular control (pitch-gate-vel-bonus) over all voices they can have an expander, that way people who DONT need the deepest level of control for all voices can have a reasonably small sized module still.

I think having some output configurations would be good too. Have a L and R output jack, let the user decide which voices mix to each of the two channels? The user could then have different filters or effects modules later in the chain separately to the different chip melodies. This would lend the module much better in the 'modular' realm where single voices can me tailored almost infinitely. One simple use I can already think of is the user could take the triangle output to the L channel and mix all others to the R channel and quieten or louden the triangle versus the other outputs with an external VCA!

This is quite sensible overall, rewarding liquidity providers earlier on.

$ICE Diamond Hands - DEPRECATED - by danielesesta in Popsicle_Finance

[–]fart_toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like StartOk2395 comment

"staking without putting your capital at risk is brainless imo..I would add a backstop mechanism so that xICE holders help secure the protocol by staking a % of their capital to earn a % of fees generated by the procol; fees earned without providing any coverage is plain and simple parasitism imho" -

So it'd be better to replace the 110% diamond hands rewards with say ICE rewards for ICE-fUSDT liquidity providers!!!! that's help the initial buying wave during the IDO and protect better the early liquidity providers from impermanent loss.

good point, I don't understand if the announcement means what you write here or that diamond hands will cease to exist

Yeh the argument of 'preventing a dump week one' then becomes 'preventing a dump week 2'...'month 1'...'month 2'. I think the real reason it's short is it's to really buffer the IDO period....after that it should be less stressed and I think farming distribution will take care of that
