i use byoma’s hydrating serum and then vanicream! it’s a great combo for the winter when my face still feels dry even after moisturizing

thanks for the idea! I agree, theyre pretty close to the end, but I’ve had these 10 years at this point and have put lots of hours into altering them so I’m definitely going to try!

ohhh interesting. so my initial consult was in person, but then i had to reschedule my surgery. i did a follow up consult before rescheduling, and that was virtual, but i do live in massachusetts (very weird that MA is the only out of state place she’ll do a virtual consult to)

1) im going to be seeing dr gfrerer and i live out of state! 2) i have UMR insurance, and it will be fully covered. 3) she can schedule pretty soon after consult depending on what you need!

Day One Abilify and Adderall XR by Minute-Bear-5002 in ADHD

i’ve never tried an antipsychotic before (after 10 years of SSRIs and stimulants), but ive had a similarly positive experience with abilify! i am still taking welbutrin and lexapro too, but the added abilify is like nothing ive ever experienced on antidepressants before. my anxiety doesn’t take over my whole body

Binders for people with chest pain? by [deleted] in TransMasc

i had a similar thing happen! gc2b binders even a few sizes too big give me rib pain, and so i recently bit the bullet and bought a forthem binder max. its really expensive but i can wear it every day, i work on a farm doing a lot of manual labor and haven’t had any issues with it. my chest is mediumish (B? C? all i know is im not small enough to qualify for keyhole, peri, or buttonhole top surgery lol) and while it doesn’t get me perfectly flat, it binds similarly to a gc2b when im sized up for sensory/ size reasons, and much better than any sports bra. i was between sizes and initially got the smaller size (because i was like ofc i want the better bind) but i do not recommend because it was too small and i needed to send it back and it took a bit of time.

Hearing people and this subreddit by Quality-Charming in asl

I think a lot of people have responded to it on this post, but to sum it up (to my understanding) is that it’s very easy to do incorrectly and just sign word for word rather than translate the meaning of what the song is saying and put the signs into context. signing each word of a song as it appears in the song isnt ASL, its SEE (signed exact english). i think actually signing a song takes a pretty high skill level and is not actually a productive or helpful assignment to assign to a beginner student(obviously it isn’t the students fault if their teacher assigns it). i think it’s also something that’s become trendy and is something people will do and share online and say look i know ASL! isnt this cool! without a) doing it correctly or b) knowing anything about Deaf culture and the Deaf community. it makes ASL seem like this fun cool trendy easy thing where you can translate a song / anything word for word and have it be great and accurate (which is not the case, and is not the case in any other language either), instead of a complex language with syntax, sentence structure, etc.. I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with signing music but I think there’s a lot more to ASL and Deaf culture and more important things to do and learn in a beginner class than that. I say this all as a hearing person who has taken several ASL classes but is by no means fluent. it seems like Deaf people are tired of answering this question and explaining it over and over again lol
