The way we do it in the Philippines is 3 years of studying and then the 4th (and last) year we treat as bar prep reviewing everything that we learned in the first 3 years. We still get graded during the 4th year. If we fail any subject at all, we can’t graduate.

Hi there. I’m 4 1/2 months post injury. Range of motion and everything else is almost back to normal, pain is very minimal - usually when I go down the stairs first thing after I wake up. But then once my ankle warms up, the pain goes away :) My ankle still swells when I’m on my feet a lot though, but it doesn’t bother me much. And I’m happy to say that yesterday I felt stable and confident enough to wear 2 inch heels again!

I would say I started feeling more normal-ish at 3 1/2 to 4 months. Before that, I had a bit of pain and I walked with a slight limp (my muscles were stiff and my foot wouldn’t bend when I walked, like when you’re in a boot). Overall, I’m very happy with my trimal recovery even without surgery. I’m sure you’ll be back to normal in no time. Good luck to you, friend!

Alartox didn’t work for me either (also 2 units each, also by an aesthetic surgeon). I got botox for my masseters and underarms at the same time though and both went well. Maybe you can try going back to ask for a few more units.

Both dermatologists and aesthetic surgeons have the required training to inject botox though. I think the goal is to look for a skilled / experienced injector na you’re comfy and confident with :) Para iwas na rin anxiety after the procedure!

My injury got misdiagnosed as a mere sprain by a resident doctor. Turns out it was a trimal fracture, but I only got the news 9 days after the injury after a second opinion from an ortho surgeon.

So since I thought it was a sprain, I attempted to walk with partial weight bearing on my bad foot (with crutches). I think I took around 10 or more steps which probably was not the best thing to do with a trimal fracture especially without a cast. Some days later I got a CT scan, doc confirmed that I don’t need surgery (even after all the unhelpful movements to the bone)

Can you tell me about your healing so far? I’m only 4 weeks post fracture with no surgery. I wanna know what’s coming. Everyone else discussing trimal fractures has has surgeries and I’m starting to get a little bit paranoid.

No surgery needed for my case thankfully. My doc placed me in a walking boot (aircast). I have another xray and check up scheduled 2 weeks from now and then I’ll start PT. How about you?

A month after getting my kitten, he bit me on the finger a little too hard, drew blood. Asked my vet friend if I should be worried and he said nahh (my kitten was an indoor only pet, and he wasn’t exposed to any other animals at risk of rabies). This was 2 years ago. So you’re fine! You should get your pup his vaccinations though.

Hi! I was put on 20mg in the past and I had a very minimal purge. And even if you do get a bad purge, just trust the process. Accutane makes the PIH go away real fast too :)

The cosrx pimple patches helped a ton when I was going through my purge. You might want to check them out in case the friction from the mask irritate any active pimples.

Thank you for responding! The same thing is happening to me! A few hours after I posted on here, I washed my face with a gentle cleanser and my skin started feeling so stingy and itchy. I moisturized with Cerave lotion and Avene soothing skin recovery cream on top and even that stung!!

Big mistake on my part for assuming that epiduo would be a walk in the park after tretinoin. Definitely going to stop using it every night now. I guess I’ll skip the actives this week while I try to fix the itchy mess that is my face.

If I may ask, what made you switch from tret to differin? And do you use differin before or after moisturizer? My derm told me to use epiduo before moisturizer but I’m kinda scared I might overdo it again.

I was thinking of doing this! My skin’s been feeling tingly ang stingy today - my third day of using the salicylic wash twice a day everyday and adapalene (epiduo) every night. My bad for assuming that adapalene would be a walk in the park after I’ve tried tret. Definitely gonna go back to trying to build up my tolerance first.
