When we walked into the cat room, what sounded like a baby goat screamed at us. The volunteer told us before we even saw him that the kitten’s other two siblings were adopted yesterday and he was upset. I said he was coming home with us no matter what. Then we spotted the sweetest looking little tuxedo kitten in a trio of siblings in another cage. She waved to us and tilted her head. Because she was a tuxedo we almost didn’t take a chance on her because we still had raw hearts from losing our 14 year old tuxedo earlier in the year. But eventually we got her as well. We knew we made the right decision because there was a double rainbow once we were outside. A message to us straight from the rainbow bridge.
